Our Flora and Fauna tours include information about the biodiversity of Monteverde, specifically about our location, the Pacific slope, and the ecology of transitional cloud forests to rainforest. Common animals spotted during the day, include agoutis, coatis, leaf cutter ants, many different kinds of insects, and birds. Fun for the entire family.
WATERFALLS
Starting at 1360 meters, along our bordering stream, five different waterfalls drop before joining other rivers towards the pacific gulf. Three of these falls are visible from the trails of Valle Escondido Nature Reserve.
